On Thursday, April 3, we left the condo headed back to Fort Pierce and much warmer weather! We stopped in Brunswick, GA and transferred everything into a rental car and left Su's car thinking we would be arriving by boat in 7-10 days. That estimate was wrong as April was as windy as March.

While waiting for calm weather, Alex squeezed his 14-pound body into the toaster box and provided us with quite a show. Jim and Su continued socializing at their favorite hangouts with Su's sister, Jane; John and Barbara of M/V Barbara E; and Tom and Liz of M/V Chief's Lady. Finally, the winds laid down, and on Tuesday, April 22, we left the dock and headed north!!

Most of our cruising was calm; however, Alex decided that the safest place was in a box on the floor of the salon. As you can see, he really doesn't fit in this box either as the front left corner is split.
We ended the month at Kilkenny Marina, one of Jim's favorite places!
