June was a month of dining out...we had lunch at Anchor Cafe with Louis, Jim's grandson, and his friend Taylor; drinks at Reflections and dinner at Waterscapes with Ken and Evelyn who were driving back to Maryland as they left their boat in Fort Lauderdale; dinner at Martin's one week and Anchor Cafe another week with Steve and Terry; and dinner with Joe and Dale at Red Lobster.  Otherwise, we did errands and boat chores.

There was some excitement as this 21' powerboat almost sunk on Saturday, June 8.  Since it was tied to the dock with several lines, it only took on a lot of water. The above picture was taken around 7:18 PM.
Jim took this picture from the overhead walkway at 7:39 PM.  Absolutely amazing how quickly the water filled the boat.

On Wednesday, June 12, we had our annual USPS Safety Inspection.  This is normally done in February; however, we just didn't seem to schedule it back then.

On Monday, June 17, the three of us left for the condo.  Our cruising will begin again in September....no blog until Palmetto Moon starts moving south!!
