Updating the blog has been on Su's "To Do List" since the end of September; however, some other chore or travel or laziness prevented her from sitting down and typing!  Here goes...

We left Marina Grande Dunes on Thursday, September 25 for the cruise south with stops in Georgetown, Isle of Palms, Charleston, Port Royal, Kilkenny, and arrived in Brunswick, GA on Saturday, October 11.  The trip took longer than expected as the weather was not cooperating and then the tides weren't working with us.  We need high tide in some shallow places in SC and GA.  The plan was to stay in Brunswick for a about a month to relax and visit with friends.

As it turned out, Su flew to St. Louis as her mother passed away after spending 20 months in a care center.  She was 88 years old and had a marriage that lasted 66+ years.  Dad is still living independently in their villa and is doing okay.

On Saturday, November 8, we cruised to Fernandina Beach where the boat was hauled and pressure washed.  The bottom looked great, so we decided not to paint but do some quick chores on the hard and get back in the water before the cold weather came.  We stayed longer than expected as the weather was not cooperating; I think I said the same thing in paragraph two!  On Thursday, November 20, we left and raced to St. Augustine for one night.  The next day we headed out early for Daytona Beach where we will spend the winter or so says the Captain right now.
