January started off cold and windy with a forecast of snow and wintery mix, so we decided to stay warm in the condo and not travel south this year. On Monday, January 3 we watched 6" of snow pile up followed by ice which closed down everything for 5 days. We decided to take the USPS Weather course which meets on Monday evenings, and we are learning more than we ever wanted or needed to know!

We'll start the blog again when we return to Palmetto Moon.....

The plan is to head north in early May, so the next posting will be done in early June for the month of May.
