We cruised down to the Maryland Yacht Club in Rock Creek, outside of Baltimore, on Friday, August 6 and stayed for about two weeks. Although isolated, the marina was quite nice with a lovely pool, great view of the Patapsco River, a clubhouse that serves excellent food on Wed, Fri, Sat and Sun, and friendly boaters and staff. The drawback is that it is too far to walk to anything. We celebrated Jim's birthday. Our stay was a quiet one with a visit from our friends, Nan and Bob, who came to visit and lunch with us at the clubhouse on our second day.
