On Thursday, August 19 we cruised down the Patapsco River to Anchorage Marina in the Canton section of Baltimore. As we approached the Francis Scott Key bridge, we saw this ship and tug coming toward us -- what a wake it made!
We are enjoying the city life with lots of restaurants and the convenience of having a Safeway grocery store across the street along with some other shops. Su's friends, Cathy and John, drove down from the Philadelphia area to visit over the last weekend. We had lunch on Palmetto Moon, dinner at Mama's on the Half Shell, and brunch at the Austin Grill.
August ends and it
is still HOT or maybe very hot would be a better description. They say that this is the hottest summer on record for the Chesapeake and we can believe it.
